Below is another example of collaboration with my client ChildPlus on a blog piece built for syndication with the NHSA. The marketing and sales teams established that 'user-centric software' was important to weave into a conversational dialogue around the DRDP and common pain points. The target keyword is highlighted.

I am including the GoogleDoc link to my outline to demonstrate process.

User-Centric Software Streamlines Your Day, Supported by Additional Assessments

The hectic day-to-day challenges of Head Start operations, such as streamlining administrative tasks, can be simplified with user-centric software, enhancing your ability to collect and manage children, family, and staff data.

Additionally, a child’s paperwork, photographs, and recordings can be summarized as dashboard-driven reports that demonstrate key areas such as; socioemotional skill, cognitive ability, and other critical areas to keep parents involved and engaged.

The DRDP measures children’s learning and development in three domains: physical, cognitive, and social-emotional. The children are assessed and placed based on their learning and developmental skills. The DRDP is strength-based and not age-based, like most common assessments. Early childhood education programs will confidently and positively impact a child, proving key to their development and paving the way for a successful future.

So, if you have great user-centric software, what do additional assessments have to offer?

The Desired Results Developmental Profile is an observational, criterion-referenced assessment carefully designed to align with ELOF (Early Learning Outcomes Framework) and crafted to the needs of a large and diverse group of young students, including dual language learners.

Focused on equal opportunity and access, teachers measure the children’s progress based on observation, documentation of the child’s work, and family/caregiver observations.

Why is the DRDP different?

Instead of establishing progress on an average score or rating for an age group, the DRDP is far more accessible and accurate. It also encourages family members to play a more significant role in the process, and partake in their child’s growth, sharing in their accomplishments and skills.

Administered through natural settings while being monitored through teacher and family observation, there is ongoing documentation of the child’s knowledge and skill in everyday settings.

The good news is ChildPlus offers the DRDP (in partnership with WestEd) as a seamless option within our user-centric software, making it an easy assessment instrument for evaluating early learners from infancy to kindergarten entry while providing added value to your classroom setting, which means more time with your children.

When you activate the DRDP module in ChildPlus, your staff is quickly impacted by a nationally renowned research and strength-based developmental assessment, which comes with access to countless educational resources and in-depth training plans.

Available in both in-person and virtual options, ensuring that your staff can seamlessly implement this innovative assessment, as well as offering different training plans that are right for your agency and budget.

Also, ChildPlus has created a list of resources to help your transition to the DRDP built-in to our user-centric software.

With our DRDP ToolKit (hyperlink) you can enjoy observation checklists, wall charts, video tutorials, and more!

Additionally, whether you are new to DRDP or a pro, our DRDP Group Demos will explain:

  • Views, Observations, Portfolios & Ratings

  • Reporting: Child, Family, Agency
